We are pleased to announce that UNWTO is organizing the 34th Joint Meeting of the UNWTO Commission for East Asia and the Pacific and the UNWTO Commission for South Asia (34th CAP- CSA) in The Maldives on 14-16 June 2022.
The year 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the Maldivian tourism industry. As part of this celebration and in conjunction with the 34th CAP-CSA, UNWTO and the Ministry of Tourism of the Maldives will co-organise the following events:
(i) 34th Joint Meeting of the UNWTO Commission for East Asia and the Pacific and the UNWTO Commission for South Asia (34th CAP- CSA) – 14th June 2022
(ii) UNWTO Ministerial Roundtable on Tourism Resilience through Innovation and Digitalization in Asia and the Pacific – 14th June 2022
(iii)UNWTO Global Summit on Community-based Tourism – 15th and 16th June 2022
(i) and (ii) are statutory events and conference for UNWTO Member States and Affiliate Members, while (iii) is a two-day summit for Member States, Affiliate Members and other participants interested in Community-Based Tourism, and Agritourism and Gastronomy Tourism.
